Born and raised in Burlington, Ryan has a business degree with a concentration in Marketing. His education journey took him to the University of Detroit Mercy on a lacrosse scholarship. After his time in Motor City, he knew he wanted to stick with it, so he transferred to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he continued to play for two more years.

Even though Ryan has retired from playing lacrosse, he's still involved with LAX life, coaching minor lacrosse in St. Catharines. Another passion of Ryan’s is his love of music and collecting vinyl. On any given day his music taste can go from Slipknot all the way to Carly Rae Jepsen. Being a music lover, he's an avid concert-goer and collects concert T-shirts from every show. His favourite concert to date was The Tea Party, a Canadian rock band from Windsor, Ont.

Random things about Ryan: he loves Jamaican curry chicken, Halloween, and has a hidden talent for solving puzzles, especially Rubik’s cubes!
